Indian Journal of AnaesthesiaSummary: Continuous infusion of epidural morphine and bupivacaine for post-operative pain relief was used in thoraco abdominal surgery. low dose epidural morphine 0.007% was used by baxter ballon pump for pain relief in surgical ward setting. Superior anlgesia at rest and on movement without side effects was observed. In conclusion low dose morphine and bupivacaine provides good analgesia without significant side effects.
